  • Mark's Fulltime RV Resource
In June of 1997, I quit my job, sold my house and all my junk and bought an RV. For almost 5 years, I traveled all over the country, meeting great folks and seeing unforgettable sights! As I traveled, I maintained my website (Mark's Fulltime RV Adventure), posting monthly travel logs and tons of pictures.
  • Movin' On
We were full-time RVers from 3/30/89 to February of 2003 (fourteen years) when we purchased a house in Arizona. During those 14 years we did not own property anywhere. Because of our book, newsletter and all of our travels, we have lots to share.

This is the story of our own experiences preparing for the full-time RVing lifestyle and the day to day issues you might encounter once on the road. I'm sure there are many ways to approach this and that you'll have different circumstances and thus different experiences, but maybe our experiences can help you prepare for your own adventure.

Camping Organizations
  • The Escapees Club
Escapees is a total support network that supports all your traveling needs whether you travel for a few days, a few weeks, or all year long!
  • The Good Sam Club
Today, our primary goal remains the same as from those days: to make RVing safer and more enjoyable, and to save our members money through Club-endorsed benefits and services. We are now 1 million RVing families strong and still growing! We still have fun, we stop to help one another and we still meet our responsibilities to the environment, the highways and the park system.
  • Family Motorcoach Association
The Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) is an international organization for families who own and enjoy the recreational use of motorhomes.
  • Passport America
Passport America invented the 50% Discount Camping Club in 1992 and has continued to improve on that great concept. 1300 campgrounds across the US, Canada, and Mexico are currently participating in the Passport America Program, with new parks joining daily. Although our concept has often been imitated, Passport America is still the Best Value in Discount Camping.
  • Happy Camper

Happy Camper provides discounted (half-price) camping across the U.S.  Like Passport, the number of days you can stay at any given campground varies, but hey, a discount is a discount.

If you decide to join the organization from this link, please mention our names, Dennis and Linda Braun, as referrers so we may get credit for it.  Thanks!

  • Dish-On-A-Stick

  • Sewer Solution
A replacement system for the standard 4 inch sewer hose.
  • Stromberg Carlson Products, Inc.
We purchased a louvered tailgate manufactured by the Stromberg Carlson Products company through Camping World.  There were some screws missing and I contacted the company by e-mail about that and about I question I had.  My e-mail was answered that day by the vice-president of the company who not only gave me the information I needed but who also informed me that the missing parts would be sent out immediately by his staff.  True to his word, we soon received the parts free of charge.  By the way, we also love our new tailgate.  We highly recommend this company.
